Wiimote Whiteboard on Asus eee running Ubuntu 9.10

The video speaks for itself, but to elaborate on a few points:

1. Sorry I sound so geeky and nervous.
2. It's a demo video, not really a howto video.
3. I did everything I could to NOT use the word democratize
4. I think this technology has a great deal of potential for cash-strapped school districts.

Amazing. I've always been curious to see how the Wiimote whiteboard would really work. It's brilliant! You definitely need to show that off at the tech conference.

Windows' users should try out the Smoothboard which has all the features needed for teachers to be applied in the classroom such as automatic Wiimote connection, annotation and presentation code. Check it out at http://www.smoothboard.net

I eschew Smoothboard because it is not free. For Windows (and now for Linux and Mac), I advocate the Uwe Schmidt Java Whiteboard software.
